  3.     Sysops & bbs users:                                Feb. 1992

  5.        DUR????.LST is a bimonthly (VERIFIED) listing of all known
  6.     BBS's in the Durham/Chapel Hill Calling Area -- that is, those that
  7.     are callable through the GTE Tri-Wide calling plan.  However, bbs's
  8.     in the Pittsboro and Hillsborough area are also included.  Those in
  9.     the Wake County area are not included -- these are listed in the
  10.     current release of RAL????A.LST (included within RAL????A.ZIP).
  11.        The following lists may be downloaded on many of the local
  12.     Durham/Chapel Hill boards and the current releases will be uploaded
  13.     by me to the following -- Geneal Board, Bull City BBS, Psychotronic BBS,
  14.     Foard's Board, and Tele-Comm Lounge BBS.

  23.                            as of Feb. 9, 1992.

  27.        What is VERIFIED??  This means that I called and tried to log on to
  28.                            the BBS -- to the main menu before saying goodbye.

  30.        AJIS BBS (919-832-0035) in raleigh, has resumed updating its BBS
  31.     Listings - "Anonymous Jones' Carolina BBS Review" (AJCBR) for North
  32.     Carolina.  The following BBS Lists are available.

  35.            LIST919.TXT  -- List #56 for area code 919 as of Feb. 1, 1992.

  37.        The current release of "USBBS??.ZIP" can be downloaded by calling
  38.     (202)-547-3037.  Sysop's can also call to add their system to the list.

  43.           bbs that is listed in the current DUR????.LST. Remember, I
  44.           will call all the listed boards at least once per month.

  46.           the following Fidonet address -- Downtown! BBS @ 1:3641/220.
  47.     (3).  A NET Mail address to me, -- RICHARD MARTIN --, and sent to
  48.           the following WWIVnet address -- Another World @ 9968.

  50.     SO ..... DUR????.LST is "THE LIST" for Durham and Orange counties
  51.                                       AND
  52.                   RAL????A.LST is "THE LIST" for Wake county.

  54.        Sysops, how about considering placing the current release of
  55.     DUR????.LST and RAL????A.LST online (maybe as a bulletin). The next
  56.     release of DUR****.ZIP will be around the first weekend in April.
